About Mainova AG
Mainova AG is the leading energy service provider in Frankfurt am Main and an energy partner for residential and commercial customers throughout Germany. The company supplies more than one million people with electricity, gas, heat, and water, and with its approximately 3.400 employees, generated adjusted revenue of around €4,1 billion in 2025. Mainova generates its own energy on a large scale and, in addition to traditional supply infrastructure, offers products and services related to renewable energies, electromobility, car sharing, energy efficiency, and digital infrastructure.

Mainova subsidiary NRM Netzdienste Rhein-Main GmbH ensures a reliable energy and water supply in Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region with its approximately 14.500-kilometer-long network. SRM Straßenbeleuchtung Rhein-Main GmbH provides public lighting with over 70.000 streetlights and innovative services. Mainova Servicedienste GmbH is responsible for metering, billing, and receivables management. The largest shareholders of Mainova AG are the City of Frankfurt am Main (approximately 75%) and Thüga (approximately 25%). A small percentage of the shares are also publicly traded.
