Data protection information (newsletter)

Purpose and legal basis of data processing

The purpose of data processing is to send newsletters on current topics, events and activities of the House of Energy. We usually send the newsletter 4-8 times per year. The admissibility of this processing is governed by Article 6 Paragraph 1 a of the GDPR, according to which processing is permitted if the data subject has given their consent to the processing of personal data concerning them for one or more specific purposes.

Categories of Recipients

We use the CRM software Cobra to send newsletters. The provider is cobra computer's brainware GmbH, Weberinnenstr. 7, 78467 Constance. The data you enter to receive the newsletter (e.g. email address) is stored on the server. We have concluded a GDPR-compliant order processing agreement with Cobra, in which we oblige Cobra to protect our customers' data and not to pass this data on to third parties.

Duration of storage and deletion of data

If you have expressly consented in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of the GDPR, we will use the data you enter (e.g. email address) to regularly send you our newsletter. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an email address.

The deregistration is possible at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you are welcome to unsubscribe at any time info@house-of-energy.org send via email.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected or you have withdrawn your consent.

Your right to information, correction, deletion, objection and data portability

You can exercise your right to information, correction and deletion of data at any time. Simply contact us using the methods described above. If you request data to be deleted but we are still legally obliged to retain it, access to your data will be restricted (blocked). The same applies to a contradiction. You can exercise your right to data portability as long as the technical options are available to the recipient and us.

You have the option of processing your personal data at any time based on a legitimate interest. Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR or due to public interests as defined. Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter e GDPR to object.

If we process your personal data for direct advertising purposes, you also have the option to object to this processing at any time.

Provision obligation

Providing your data is voluntary, but necessary to receive the newsletter. Failure to provide this will mean that you will not be able to receive a newsletter.
